‘Hollow’ is the result of various experiments that started from reflection on the darker sides of our technophile society. Hollow is what we are slowly becoming, spending time developing our outer, digital persona in cyberspace, thinking that this is all meaningful. We tend to overlook the essence or our core. Neglecting the core makes it lose its value and power. How long can a construction like this endure, or, more accurately, how long will we endure a construction like this?
Reflection doesn’t provide you with any straight answers. Often, it even brings more questions. However, I dare to say that one doesn’t need answers to get wiser. Reflection brings overview and broadening, which can help many to better understand themselves and thus the world around them.
Different thoughts and ideas were bundled and represented in the tracks and respective titles in ‘Hollow’. What came to be is a collection of tracks I feel very connected to. I hope you can experience it with the same intensity as I did when making it.
